Our Story

Founded in Liverpool in April 2023, WISE Controls began with a clear mission — to bring smarter, more reliable building management solutions to clients who value trust, expertise, and personal service. Our very first contract with the Merseyside Youth Association set the tone for everything we do: combining technical excellence with a friendly, collaborative approach.

As a family-run business, we’ve built our reputation on a unique blend of skills, industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and a proven track record of delivering results.     Philip Whyte

    Director/BMS Controls Engineer

    With over 30 years in BMS engineering, Philip has overseen projects ranging from small retrofits to large-scale BMS upgrades and hospital integrations. Deep technical knowledge, combined with a hands-on leadership style, ensures every client benefits from his both strategic insight and practical expertise.

    Mia Whyte

    Apprentice BMS Controls Engineer

    As one of the few women in the BMS engineering field, Mia brings a fresh perspective to a traditionally male-dominated industry. An apprentice specialising in system optimisation and on-site commissioning, she combines technical skill with a passion for encouraging women into engineering.

    Becky has joined the team overseeing daily admin operations alongside the company's building development projects. Her strong organisational skills and passion for the business reinforces the company's foundations while carrying forward the family values that have shaped the business from the start.
