Delivering Accuracy and Clarity Across 508 Electrical Meters
WISE Controls were tasked with verifying and integrating a large-scale network of 508 Modbus electrical meters. The challenge was not only to ensure that each meter was correctly configured and recording valid data but also to provide estates teams with meaningful visibility of system performance.
Our team conducted a thorough programme of meter validation, checking for communication errors, scaling issues, and configuration faults. Each meter was successfully integrated into the Building Management System (BMS), providing reliable data streams that could be used for analysis, reporting, and energy optimisation.
As part of the project, WISE Controls also developed clear graphical representations of all 508 meter locations and LCD displays, ensuring facilities teams could quickly access and interpret meter information. This improved not only the accuracy of data collection but also its usability in day-to-day energy management.
The result was a robust, transparent metering system that supports compliance, improves energy monitoring, and provides a trusted foundation for future optimisation strategies.
